Event Management Hub — V0.1

What's new in V0.1

V0.1 is the first focused version of Event Management Hub for B2B trade show organizer teams. The goal is to help teams plan around real event dates, keep ownership clear, and give managers a quick view of what needs attention before the show opens.

Event & task management

  • Create organization events with timezone, preparation start, event start, and event end dates.
  • Plan tasks with relative deadlines anchored to the event start or end date, such as J-60 or J+1, so schedules recalculate when event dates move.
  • Track work across five statuses: To do, In progress, To review, Blocked, and Done.
  • Assign each task to an owner and optionally set a reviewer.
  • Create teams, add members, and attach teams to tasks for clearer operational responsibility.
  • Start from a standard B2B task plan with team mapping when setting up an event.

My Work

  • See a personal work view across all organization events.
  • Work is grouped into To review, Overdue, This week, and Later sections so urgent tasks stay visible.
  • Team-assigned tasks appear even when no individual assignee has been selected yet.
  • Starting a task can assign it to you, move it forward, and prompt for a reviewer.

Event dashboard

  • Monitor event health with KPI cards for Not started, In progress, To review, Overdue, and Done work.
  • Track completion with a progress bar.
  • Switch between chronological planning and status-based views.
  • Click KPI cards to filter the task board instantly.
  • Use time and status filters to focus on the current planning window.

Task panel

  • Review task details in a dedicated panel, then switch into edit mode when updates are needed.
  • See compact metadata for status, team, assignee, reviewer, and calculated due date.
  • Move tasks through quick status actions from the panel.
  • Add real-time activity comments with rich text formatting, including bold text, lists, and inline code.
  • Submit comments from the keyboard with Cmd/Ctrl + Enter.

Overview

  • Use the organization overview as a manager-level view of all events.
  • Event cards show health indicators, progress, overdue work, and task status counts.
  • Open an event directly from the overview to continue planning.
